Presentation:

Martin Eversfield:
Dropped kerbs survey- the town centre is nearly complete. Lawford Road up to the Sheaf & Sickle pub has been carried out by David. Pam will do her kerbs this weekend. Sue Hillman has done a lot, and will do more. Martin Eversfield and Ian Haxton to do Bilton Road. Gloria will finish Newbold Road today. Martin will have a full assessment by end of the week – whilst it is inevitable that some dropped kerbs will be missed, everything possible needs to be completed by the end of July, in terms of the survey and draft report. This report will be presented to Paul Cowley and then County Councillors. A £4000 budget of last year has already increased to £25000 - David seems to think that there may be a need to increase to a further £75000 if the agreed 10 year plan is to be achieved.
Steve Bunyan – Funding Report:
Steve and volunteers are actively putting up posters for the wheelchair race this week and seeking advertising and sponsorship. Steve asked for assistance and Gloria and Derek Hillman offered their assistance.
Posters: A3 posters are ready but A4 still being printed.
Gloria Lawley – Funding Report:
Gloria has no transport for time being to attend car boot sales. So a table top sale will be held at Hamilton House on a Saturday 30th July. Paul volunteered to pick up and transport stuff from Gloria’s to the sale.
Sue and Derek Hillman, Theresa Sharp, Ian Haxton. Anne & Pat Clarke and Pam Jones all volunteered to help out on the day which will hopefully include face painting and a tombola.

7th pm and 8th July all day there is a rally and Mobility fair at Donnington Park.
Police Spot
There seems to be some confusion over the agreement of parking on footpaths. David clarified that Police will not send out uniformed officers to move vehicles parked on footpaths but if; make model and registration plate, time and place, are passed to police via David, they will send a Community Support Officer to talk to the owner. If the community support officer’s warning is ignored this can then be followed up with a traffic warden visit who can then issue a fine or summons.
Carribean Carnival
Sat 23rd July. Lionel gave his support to the event but no other support has come through from the group.
