Jack Lawton requested a clarification regarding the legal position regarding parking enforcement where unauthorised people park in disabled parking bays particularly after 1700 hours. John Burrell explained that this is a particularly difficult area where the Council requires increased enforcement power.

Jack noted that this could be resolved if there was greater co-operation between the different agencies i.e., Police P.C.S.O. Traffic Wardens Rugby Bid.

Martin Eversfield noted that the disabled parking bay outside the Co-op at Bilton had not had the street furniture post and signage replaced. This means that the ban was unlikely to be enforceable.

Further discussion will take place on this subject. The working group will be J. Kerslake, P. Cowley, Martin Eversfield, Jack Lawton, John Burrell.
