June’s Forum Meeting Tuesday 25th

Swift Valley Walk.

We have started!   The RDF project to make a Disability Walk which is available to wheelchairs and scooters is well under way.  The old kissing gates have been adapted and the relaying of the path around the nature reserve is to start as soon as the materials are readily available.  Hopefully work will begin this week, while [...] [...]

Brian Edwards Dies

We lost yet another good friend of the Forum this month.  Brian Edwards, who for years read the minutes onto tapes for us to distribute to the visually impaired members, has died.  He passed away on Wed 28th May 2013.  Brian will be sadly missed; although due to illness he has been unable to attend [...] [...]

Our Achievement at AZDA **********

Hi there. I have been meaning to tell everyone about our” Bin”in Azda. The reason we have this bin is so that the public of Rugby that shop at Azda can appreciate us by putting tokens into our bin. I hear you say ” Where do we get the Tokens from” Well!! Please ask at [...] [...]

This month’s April meeting is all about carrying the Torch ?

This months speaker is a bit different to our usual speakers because it is all about carrying the torch for Rugby. Our speaker Kieth Richards took the Olympic Torch around Rugby. March Forum and Guide Dogs.

This forum which is on Tuesday March the 26th is very exciting as we are to have a Guide dog display how they help a blind disabled person and I for one cannot wait.  Chris Wade a blind member of our forum has helped to bring this about. Remembering Anne ***********

After all our sadness  we have had at the forum I am here to tell you of something good!.  In memory of our Anne we bought an artificial flower centrepiece which we gave to Pat . I even put a little glass ornamental Angel in the arrangement. We do hope that Pat can gaze at [...] [...]

The Swift Valley Walk.

We were due to start the alterations to make Swift Valley nature reserve accessible to wheelchairs and scooters last week, but the bad weather has put us back.  Pity because the pictures would’ve been nice.  Hopefully the snow we are expecting today will not last as long as the spell we have just had, then together with WCAVA, [...] [...]
