Our next forum meeting is on Tuesday May 29th and we have Tracy and a work colleague talking to us on recycling. We have had a talk on recycling in the past and it became a very interesting meeting so this meeting is one I don’t think should be missed. Jane worked on the Rheumatology Ward at Walsgrave for many years and shown us a few light exercises that would help us with our posture and pains in our joints and in our body. She will be bringing a lot of advice and showing us light exercises that are doable for disabled. She has a lot of expertise on physio as her job as a physio was working with [...] [...] The meeting that I attended with another member of our forum was presented by two ladies who were Jane Muers and Jill Perry.This is Jane showing us a model of a human brain. She then explained about what part of the brain is damaged to relate to the different strains of Dementia. She explained that [...] [...] Today is Tuesday the third of March and I am back to school but I am to learn all about dementia.** It realy opened my eyes to the why’s and wherefores of dementia. Dementia is an umbrella over a few conditions of dementia these being, Alzhelmer’s Disease ie * Poor memory for recent events, * [...] [...] Town’s praise from disabled forum chair. **** ” Rugby probably has the best facilities for disabled people in the UK”.
