Q. How do I join the Rugby Disability Forum?

A. Just turn up, everyone is welcome.

Q. Where are the Rugby Disability Forum Meetings held?

Q. Do I have to pay anything to become a member of Rugby Disability Forum?

A. No, membership is free to everyone. But we do ask that people pay 30 pence for a cup of tea or coffee if they want one at the meetings.

Q. How do I become a committee member of Rugby Disability Forum?

A. The Committee is elected each year at the Annual General Meeting. To become a member you first have to be nominated and have that nomination seconded. For more information contact David Foster on 01788 544991

Q. Parking and access to buildings are my two biggest issues, does the Forum do anything about these issues?

A. The local Community Support Officer  attends each of our meetings where we regularly raise Traffic and parking issues.

Q. Does everyone have a say at the Forum meetings?

A. Yes. Everyone at the meeting has equal say, should an issue need to be voted upon however only Disabled people are entitled to vote.

Q. What has this Forum actually achieved?

A. The forum has made several premises within Rugby accessible by liaising with businesses and the Council. We have also increased the Dropped kerb budget in Rugby from £5000 per year to £20,000 and that goes for each of the 5 districts across Warwickshire!

Q. Audio Minutes wont work

A. Down load the audio file from the web page then click to run it, Linux & Mac will auto play.   Windows you will have to tell it to use windows media player by selecting “Chose a programme for this file” then selecting Windows Media Player.

Q. I am a committie member and my secure password will not give me access.

A. Email the web admin from your RDF email address and request a code. Only emails from the RDF mail box will be given a code. - admin@rigbydisabilityforum.org

Q. I have posted a Item on the calendar and it is no longer there why >?

A. The reason is that a Editor of the sight has exercised his or her right to remove it, if you feel that it should have remained on the site please contact the sight admin – admin@rigbydisabilityforum.org

Q. When I sign in to the website what doesthe option “Remember me on this computer” mean ?

A. If you tick the ‘Remember me on this computer’ box when signing in, registering or upgrading, the computer you are using at the time will remember you for 30 days and automatically sign you in if you visit www.rugbydisabilityforum.org again in that time. This means you don’t have to type your username and password each time you visit.
Never tick ‘remember me on this computer’ if you are using a public computer, for example in an internet cafe or at a library where lots of people share it. To keep your account safe, only tick
this box if you are the only person using this computer.

Q. My Username Or Password does not work when I try to sign in why ?
A. First, please make sure you’ve typed your details in correctly. If you think you may have forgotten your username or password, go to forgotten password page to send yourself an email that will remind you of your username and allow you to reset your password. if you are still haveing problems please contact the web site – admin@rigbydisabilityforum.org
